About AKA Recruitment are currently working with a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services provider, delivering high-quality projects and maintenance solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sectors and are now looking for a friendly and highly organised Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join the team. Role Overview As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you’ll play a key role in representing the company. Alongside managing the reception area, you’ll provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our office operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services Maintain the reception area and meeting rooms to a high standard Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements Assist with document preparation, filing, and maintaining office records Process purchase orders, invoices, and basic data entry tasks Maintain office supplies and place orders as required Assist with any ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the business Requirements Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Knowledge of the construction or M&E sector is advantageous but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary Pension scheme Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunities for training and career development This is a full time permanent position working with an established business that have gathered fantastic relationships with a variety of companies throughout the UK.
