AKA Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established, family-run main dealership to bring you this Vehicle Technician role based in Colne. Working within a busy and clean workshop, you will be joining an extremely established business that is currently looking to expand the team due to business growth.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm, and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm on a rota basis. An excellent salary of up to £46,800 per year is on offer (depending on experience), plus a £2,000 signing-on bonus after successful completion of probation.
Job Duties Include:
- Servicing and repairs on VWG brand cars
- Removal and refitting of mechanical components
- Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
- Ensure all equipment and the workshop are maintained and cleaned
- Carrying out inspections on a range of vehicles
- Ensuring all work completed and carried out is within safe working practices
- Carry out diagnostics and repairs to the highest industry standards
Requirements:
- Qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds)
- Diagnostic or Master Technician level (preferred)
- VWG accreditation (essential)
- Own tools
- Full licence with no more than 6 points
