AKA Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established prestige Main Dealership in the York area to bring you this MOT Tester opportunity. Representing a premium automotive brand, you will play a key role within a busy, professional service department.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, with overtime available on Saturday mornings. The basic salary starts from £15ph, with individual bonus opportunities available on top.
Job Duties Include:
- Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles, ensuring full compliance with DVSA standards
- Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to improve vehicle safety and performance
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and vehicle health checks where required
- Perform final quality inspections, including thorough safety checks and road testing when necessary
- Accurately record findings on job cards and statutory documentation
- Work in line with manufacturer standards, health and safety procedures, and company policies
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified (NVQ or City & Guilds)
- Valid MOT Testing licence is essential
- Own tools
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
