aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a longstanding client of ours to bring you this Vehicle Technician role based in Wakefield. Working within a busy and clean workshop, you will be joining a forward thinking and established family run business. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, with overtime available on Saturdays covering 1 in 3. A superb salary basic between £32-37k is on offer, depending on experience.

Job Duties Include:

  • Servicing and repairs on a range of brands
  • Removal and refitting of mechanical components
  • Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all equipment and workshop is maintained and cleaned
  • Carrying out of inspections on a range of vehicles
  • All work that is completed and carried out is within safe working practices
  • Carry out Diagnostics and repairs to the highest industry standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds)
  • MOT Testing licence is again advantageous but not essential
  • Own tools
  • Full Licence with no more than 6 points
