  • Night Shift Vehicle Service Technician position based in
  • Northern

Scotland, covering Inverness, Aberdeen and surrounding areas. You will be joining an established team responsible for maintaining customer vehicles to the highest standards. This permanent night shift role offers an excellent salary, shift allowance and long-term career opportunities within a growing business. Working hours cover 40 per week

Job Duties Include

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional repair requirements.
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components efficiently and accurately.
  • Carry out repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and other vehicle systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Complete all job cards and workshop documentation to a high standard.
  • Work independently throughout the night whilst maintaining communication with the Workshop Controller and wider team.
  • Ensure all workshop equipment is maintained and used correctly.
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Support colleagues where required to ensure workshop productivity and customer satisfaction remain at the highest level.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship whilst contributing to continuous improvement within the workshop.

Requirements

  • Qualified to
  • Level 3 NVQ ,

City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

  • Previous experience as a
  • Vehicle Technician ,
  • Service Technician or

Mechanic within the automotive industry.

  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
  • MOT Testing Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Own tools are essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than six penalty points.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated during night shifts.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
