Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a fantastic client of ours, who continue to be leading within their sector of the Automotive Industry, to bring you this exciting Branch operations manager role based in Leeds. You’ll work Monday to Friday, completing 8.5x hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm). Salary basic is starting at £35k.
Job Duties include:
- Lead, coach and develop the Warehouse Operatives, Drivers, Logistic Supports and Logistic Co-ordinators.
- Manage resource requirements for the branch.
- Manage all warehouse operations using the warehouse management system ensuring that received stock is put away and efficiently stored to meet customer need.
- Ensure the delivery of customer orders evaluating adherence to SLAs.
- Problem-solve operational issues to mitigate risk to service disruption.
- Process Returns/Warranties in accordance with company procedure.
- Undertake warehouse operations or logistics tasks if required.
- Daily checks of delivery vehicles and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor and replenish fuel levels for the branch.
- Undertake employee performance reviews, check-ins and handle grievance proceedings.
Requirements:
- Experience of leading, developing and coaching operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyse data and implement appropriate solutions to satisfy business need.
- Experience of working in a customer service focused environment.
- Experience representing the company and team on behalf of internal and external customers.
- Level 3 in Warehousing Management is desirable, but not essential.
