Customer Service & Sales Advisor – Huddersfield
Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a longstanding and expanding family-run client based in Huddersfield. Following a superb year of business growth, they are now looking to recruit a Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join their friendly and vibrant team. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with no weekends involved, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who is looking to develop their career within a growing business. Salary basic starts at £26,789 with the offer of future progression also available
Job Duties Include:
- Handling calls from both new and existing customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Processing customer orders accurately over the telephone
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer queries
- Liaising with the Production Department regarding orders and any additional requirements
- Dealing with customer complaints and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
- Identifying opportunities to support sales and develop customer relationships
- Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation using internal systems
- Ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Customer Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role is essential
- Experience within the Manufacturing industry would be advantageous but is not essential
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- A professional approach with a strong focus on customer service
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using computer systems and maintaining accurate records
- A positive and proactive approach to supporting customers and the wider team
