Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a family run business to bring you this delivery driver position based in Derby. This is a full time role which you’ll work Monday to Friday, completing 8-hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm plus alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm). Salary basic starts at £29,746k with the option to develop and further progress within the business.
Job Duties Include:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load and unload products efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules
- Assist in warehouse duties when required
- Handle heavy lifting as necessary
- Uphold company standards for customer service during deliveries
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
