Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a long standing client of ours in Cleckheaton to bring you this Junior Graphic Designer position. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, for an established family run business. If you are looking to develop your graphic design journey then this is certainly a role for you! Salary for this position starts at £25,000.

Job Duties Include:

  • Creating artwork for branded merchandise and clothing across a wide range of products.
  • Producing visuals, mock-ups and proofs to support sales and client pitches.
  • Preparing accurate, print-ready artwork for suppliers.
  • Working closely with sales, suppliers and customers to refine designs.
  • Supporting wider design projects including catalogues, campaigns and internal branding.
  • Generating creative ideas to help win new business.

Requirements:

  • A passion for design and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop is vital.
  • In-design experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Experience with AI tools or 3D design software is a plus, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially for print and artwork setup.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and confidence working within a team.
  • A proactive attitude, willing to get stuck in and support the team where possible.
