Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading aftermarket automotive parts supplier to bring you this exciting Regiona Sales Manager position based inClay Cross and around the East Midlands.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious business where you will lead a high-performing sales function, develop strategic customer relationships and drive continued commercial growth. Working Monday to Fridaybased on a 42.5 hour contract, you will receive a starting basic salary of up to Β£48,000kand a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Duties Include:
- Lead, motivate and develop the national sales team to achieve and exceed company sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across trade, fleet and independent garage customers.
- Ensure a cohesive and consistent approach in the execution of sales standards, key
performance indicators (KPIs), and performance management to achieve the overall
business strategy and customer growth. - Support on identifying new business opportunities, staying updated on the industry and
competition, reporting on all marketing intelligence to stakeholders. - Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, analysing performance of the region
to key stakeholders. - Manage the regional sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Where required, build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts within the
region. - Lead the implementation of new processes, systems and standards, whether physical,
cultural or behavioural β to drive continuous improvement within the branch network.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within aRegional Sales Manager or senior commercial leadership role.
- Strong background within the automotive aftermarket, automotive parts distribution or motor factor industry.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained sales growth and leading successful sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience analysing sales data, forecasting and implementing strategic business plans.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel nationally when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
