Aka Recruitment are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership, with our client in York, to bring you this Logistics Coordinator position.
You’ll work Monday to Friday, completing 8-hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm).
Salary basic starts at £29,740k with the option to develop and further progress within the business.
Job Duties
- Manage a team of drivers, using IT software to support and deliver agreed delivery service to all customers, providing a customer 1st attitude and service.
- To perform other general warehouse duties when required.
- To carry out multiple deliveries to our existing Branch network, collecting cash on a daily basis from our existing Branches.
- Ensure we offer high-quality all-round customer service, day in day out.
- To ensure parts are picked and packed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Support warehouse operations and resolve issues related to delays, damages or discrepancies.
- Be responsible for the care and maintenance of the fleet of vans including daily checks etc.
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety standards
Requirements
- A good local knowledge of the area
- An excellent team player with the desire to succeed.
- Good communication skills.
- A person who can pay careful attention to the job & follow instructions precisely.
- A Valid Driving License
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
