Vehicle Technician position based in

Leeds . Working within a thriving workshop, you will be joining a forward-thinking and well-established family-run business . Working hours are

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm , along with

1 in 3 Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm , paid at overtime. You will be rewarded with a basic salary starting at £32,000k alongside excellent working conditions and a high earning potential available on top.

Job Duties Include

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and carry out repairs to the highest industry standards.
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete vehicle health checks and inspections, identifying any additional work required.
  • Ensure all servicing and repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance including brakes, suspension, clutches, cambelts and engine repairs.
  • Accurately complete all job cards and service documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
  • Ensure all tools and workshop equipment are maintained and used correctly.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices at all times.
  • Work closely with the Service Advisors and Workshop Controller to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship while contributing positively to the workshop team.

Requirements

  • Qualified to Level 3 NVQ , City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
  • MOT Testing Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
  • Own tools are essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than six penalty points.
  • Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
