Who You Are: An Account Manager with 4 to 6 years of PR experience to lead across luxury lifestyle and hospitality clients. This is not an entry-level role. You will act as the senior day-to-day point of contact for client founders, CEOs and Managing Directors, working closely with the Founders, and take ownership of running multiple accounts in a busy agency environment. There will also be opportunities for travel to our international client locations as well as the Dubai office as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Relations: Secure regular, high-quality press coverage across all accounts on an ongoing basis; Write quality, grammatically flawless media materials; Build and maintain sharp, relevant press lists; Develop press contacts through frequent communication and face-to-face meetings; Research forthcoming features through proactive, ongoing contact with the media; Identify trends and creative feature angles; lead brainstorms.
  • Client Management & Relations: Develop and maintain strong client relations at all times; Call clients regularly, keeping them updated and informed; Prepare all materials required for meetings, including agendas.
  • Team Management: Meet regularly with the Directors to plan strategy, flag opportunities and report on results; Ensure your team delivers work responsibly, on time and to a professional standard, including administration; Monitor and assess junior team members' performance, feeding back to the Directors.

Skills and Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years of PR experience, with a proven track record across hospitality and travel clients.
  • Genuine media contacts across national consumer and trade press, particularly food, drink, travel and lifestyle.
  • Established relationships within our areas of focus, including members' clubs, chef-led restaurants and drinks brands.
  • Track record of managing multiple accounts in a busy agency environment.
  • Strong client relationship skills, with a track record of long-term client retention.
  • Confident presenting skills, comfortable holding a room.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills with a proven ability to convert pitches into coverage.
  • Experience managing and developing junior team members.
  • Experience of creating decks and pitching for new business.
