Come and join AJW Group as a Logistics Executive.
By joining AJW Group, you will become part of a world-leading independent specialist in the supply, exchange, maintenance, repair, and lease of commercial and business aircraft spare parts. As a Logistics Executive, you will be working with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that the consignments are delivered in full on time, every time.
You\’ll join a large logistics team of 25 people within a global organisation of 500. The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere, where you can continue to learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment, supported by people that are true specialists. This role is on‑site at our HQ in Slinfold.
This role is day shift 4 on 4 off, 7am – 7pm on a 12 month fixed term contract.
What You Will Be Doing
- Exceed customer expectations and meet requirements through the global shipping
- You’ll research and use the most economical and fast‑paced methods of moving consignments globally
- Decide the best method of shipping
- Complete compliance documents
- Negotiating the cost of shipping
- Consider handling, labelling, and shipping dangerous goods
- Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular, the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journey
- Meeting set company goals
