AJW Distribution Ltd is a family-run, independently owned business supplying roofing, cladding, and building materials to contractors, builders, merchants, and the general public.

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.
Based at our Chatteris depot, you will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and with the high level of service our customers expect.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver roofing and cladding materials within your depot’s delivery area
- Operate a HIAB crane (training provided if required)
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Ensure all loads are checked, signed off, and secured correctly
- Always comply with road traffic laws and tachograph regulations
- Keep delivery paperwork accurate and up to date
- Wear PPE at all times and maintain high safety standards
- Deliver the correct products to the correct customers, providing excellent service
- Keep your vehicle clean and tidy
- Support yard staff when required
- What we’re looking for
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital tachograph card holder
- Good communication skills
- Ability to complete paperwork clearly and accurately
- A positive, professional, and safety-first approach
