The Site Services Division at AJT is at the heart of our work in Renewables, Hydro Electric, and Water Treatment sectors. We are currently recruiting for multiple Semi Skilled / Labourers due to contained growth and expansion.
Join our dynamic team as a Semi Skilled / Labourer and play a crucial role in driving industrial efficiency and innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting the sites tradesmen and carrying out general labouring.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties, such as keeping the workshop, yard and stores clean & tidy.
- Carry out the removal / Installation of mechanical components from the customer’s sites.
- Assist with disassembly / assembly of mechanical components as required.
- Assist with identification of all materials & mechanical components for traceability & ID.
- Assist with cleaning / protecting mechanical components as required.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and make appropriate use of PPE at all times.
- Work to the requirements of CDM regulations 2015.
- Work to HSE ACOPs, customer rules & specifications, company work instructions and route cards at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable task / activities as requested by Manager or delegate.

- Sharp eye for interpreting complex engineering drawings and BOMs.

- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Flexibility to travel and work extended hours when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- SVQ level 3 or higher in a relevant trade qualification.
- Ideally 5+ years of hands-on experience in an engineering setting.
- Extensive experience with hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with CDM worksites is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Valid, clean driving license preferred.
This is a full-time role based on 38 hours per week. This role is not eligible for relocation. There is no remote or hybrid working available for this role.
