We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and manage the Company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Management Systems. Reporting to the Managing Director and Senior Management Team, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, international standards, and accreditation requirements, while driving continual improvement and promoting a strong HSEQ culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and accreditation status.
- Promote HSE culture and lead efforts to improve HSE and quality performance.
- Act as Management Representative for HSEQ, including hosting third-party audits.
- Lead incident and accident investigations using the Safety 123 process, ensuring root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
- Conduct internal, site and supplier audits and manage findings through our MRP system: Progress Plus.
- Facilitate and coordinate compliance audits for, but not exclusive to API Q1, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, PED, 1090, 3834.
- Advise and support management on all HSEQ matters.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, best practice, and documentation control standards.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers on HSEQ-related matters.
- Report HSEQ performance and KPIs to the Senior Management Team.
- Coordinate NDT training, competency requirements and inspection compliance equipment budgets.
- Coordinate with internal QA and QC teams.
- Carry out objective driven performance reviews for your teams.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' HSEQ experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- NEBOSH General Certificate and Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Certified Member of IOSH.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experience working with API standards and/or API-based inspection, safety or quality methodologies.
- PUWER Assessor.
- LOLER Planner.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with a high level of attention to detail.
