AJS Asset Care are currently seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice Engineer to join the team. If you’re looking to begin a career in engineering, this is the perfect opportunity to get started. One of the biggest benefits of this role is the chance to earn while you learn. You’ll work four days a week alongside experienced engineers and attend college one day a week to develop your knowledge and skills. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll gain a recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering and the hands-on experience needed to become a skilled engineer and progress confidently in your career.
Responsibilities of the Role will include:
- Install LV Switchgear
- Installation and termination of power and control cabling
- Installation of Cable Containment and Management
- Testing and Commissioning completed installs
- Install and maintain lighting, security and fire alarm systems
- Test electrical components and systems for continuity
- Diagnose and repair faulty electrical systems
- Record Testing Results
- Comply with company standards for installations
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
