AJS Control and Automation have seen continued growth and are seeking a Control Panel Builder to join our manufacturing team in Holbeach. AJS Control and Automation provide turnkey services to the food and beverage industry and a wide range of FMCG manufacturers, including the design and manufacturing of Electrical Control Panels varying in sizes, from floor standing to wall-mounted panels.
Responsibilities of the Role include:
- Assemble, wire and test industrial control panels in accordance with electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Complete functional testing of completed control panels.
- Understand the fundamentals of control circuits and component operation.
- Work independently, take ownership of their work, and consistently maintain high standards of quality throughout the build process.
Key Skills for the Role Include:
- Reading and understanding panel schematics.
- Understanding of common component manufacturers: Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.
- Efficient panel building techniques.
- Competent use of hand tools.
