Manage business development activities for existing and new customers, distributors, and partners in APAC countries within the specialty chemicals business. Handle day-to-day sales enquiries and quotations, including follow-up with customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate and follow up on sales and technical enquiries, working closely with the Sales, Technical, and Application teams as required. Liaise with customers and the Sales Administration team on order processing, shipment coordination, and invoicing matters. Monitor and coordinate customer orders and requests to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. Support the preparation and consolidation of sales reports, forecasts, and distributor updates. Conduct overseas visits to customers and distributors in accordance with business plans and market development needs. Maintain proper documentation of sales enquiries, quotations, customer records, and manage stocks of brochures and product samples.

Support the development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the department. Conduct market research and surveys related to cosmetic and specialty chemical products, including concepts, trends, applications, and market size, and share insights with Sales and Technical teams. Coordinate with exhibition organisers, booth contractors, transporters, and distributors for pre- and post-exhibition activities. Prepare and arrange brochures, samples, and promotional materials for exhibitions, supplier days, and marketing events. Support and participate in exhibitions, supplier days, and customer events. Deliver market trend and product presentations to internal teams, customers, and distributors where required. Share updates on new data, formulations, and market trends with distributors across APAC markets. Monitor and report on competitor activities and market developments within the APAC region.

Requirements

Qualifications

Min Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical Process Technology, Industrial Chemistry, or other chemistry-related disciplines is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the personal care industry, preferably involving development of formulations for personal care products; and/or sales of personal care ingredients. Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to cosmetic ingredients is required.
