Ajax Equipment Ltd is a long-established engineering company with over 55 years experience designing and manufacturing specialist solids handling equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, confectionery, and fine chemical industries. We are now seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our manufacturing team, producing high-quality bespoke stainless steel fabrications.
The Role:
- Fabricate complex stainless steel components (hoppers, transitions, casings)
- Read and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Mark out, form, tack, and prepare materials for welding
- Work to tight tolerances (3mm) and high-quality standards
- Inspect own work and correct distortion where required
- Collaborate with welders and support best fabrication practices
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace
