Performance Objective
Designing screw-based machinery and associated equipment.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- This is an office based role with occasional site visits to customers.
- Receiving specifications from sales team to produce equipment design proposition.
- Undertake detailed diligence on orders; liaise with customer on approvals.
- Follow up support, guide and assist customers.
- Advising customers on how best to use our equipment.
- Collaborate with design, production, engineering teams.
Person Requirements
- Working knowledge of engineering mathematics and practical engineering.
- Qualification - Degree in engineering or other related science.
- Experience 10+ in machinery design including ATEX and safety directives.
- A solid technical background.
- Sound judgement and good business sense.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Teamworking ability.
- Communication skills.
- 3D/2D Design for manufacture.
Experience
- Ideally a background in the bulk solids handling industry.
