By joining AJW Group, you will become part of a world-leading independent specialist in the supply, exchange, maintenance, repair, and lease of commercial and business aircraft spare parts.
As a Logistics Executive, you will be working with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that the consignments are delivered in full on time, every time. You'll join a large logistics team of 25 people within a global organisation of 500. The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere, where you can continue to learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment, supported by people that are true specialists. This role is on-site at our HQ in Slinfold. This role is day shift 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm, full time permanent role.
What you will be doing:
- Exceed customer expectations and meet requirements through the global shipping.
- You’ll research and use the most economical and fast-paced methods of moving consignments globally.
- Decide the best method of shipping.
- Negotiating the cost of shipping.
- Consider handling, labelling, and shipping dangerous goods.
- Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular, the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journey.
- Meeting set company goals.
