AJW Group is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support our global trade and regulatory processes. This role is responsible for monitoring export compliance activities while maintaining licensing and customs documentation and ensuring adherence to UK, US and international regulations.
What you'll be doing
- Manage compliance control logs and monitor licensing platforms.
- Track licence expiries and balances, coordinating renewals or adjustments as needed.
- Conduct thorough customs entry checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Generate reports (including Power BI) to support post‑shipment reviews and compliance audits.
- Maintain and update the Border Force log ensuring timely and accurate entries.
- Monitor incoming emails for export compliance queries and required actions.
- Escalate issues or requests to the appropriate team member or department for resolution.
- Ensure timely receipt and tracking of dual‑use exchange units, updating schedules accordingly.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve compliance issues promptly.
Job Requirements
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for managing logs, schedules and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
- Familiarity with export compliance or customs processes is an advantage but not essential.
- No formal qualifications or prior experience required; full training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance procedures.
