AJ&U Recruitment is proud to represent a client based in the Greater Manchester area who specialises in designing and crafting high-quality interior joinery and bespoke furniture for commercial environments for clients in Central London. We’re seeking an experienced site fitter. As part of a skilled team, you’ll contribute to the creation of custom furniture tailored to client design briefs and handle the precise installation of joinery components. You will work with a diverse range of materials, including natural wood, laminates, steel, aluminium, veneer, and solid surface materials.
What’s on Offer / Benefits:
- Starting at £33,280 and goes up depending on experience (£40-£45k with the overtime)
- Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked over 40/week
- Hours: 08:00–16:30, 40 hours per week
- Holiday: 20+ days (plus bank holidays)

- Overnight Site Work Bonus: £30/night for overnight stays (when working in Central London)

Job Duties:
- Carry out site fitting duties as required (CSCS card needed).
- Work with various materials, including: Veneer, Laminate, Solid surface
- Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.
- Maintain quality and precision across both bench and site-based tasks.
- Must have a CSCS card
- Must have experience fitting commercial offices/bespoke joinery
- Able to read technical drawings in order to install the joinery
- Have your own basic hand-held tools.
- Other tools provided

- Ability to read and understand technical/working drawings.
- Skilled in working with materials such as veneer, laminate, and preferably solid surface.
- Willingness to travel for site installations (Central London).
