Location: Central London

Salary: Starting at £33,280 and goes up depending on experience (£40-£45k with the overtime)

Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours

Site Work: Central London (travel/accommodation covered + £120 per week)

AJ&U Recruitment is proud to represent a client based in the Greater Manchester area who specialises in designing and crafting high-quality interior joinery and bespoke furniture for commercial environments for clients in Central London. We’re seeking an experienced site fitter. As part of a skilled team, you’ll contribute to the creation of custom furniture tailored to client design briefs and handle the precise installation of joinery components. You will work with a diverse range of materials, including natural wood, laminates, steel, aluminium, veneer, and solid surface materials.

What’s on Offer / Benefits:

  • Starting at £33,280 and goes up depending on experience (£40-£45k with the overtime)
  • Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked over 40/week
  • Hours: 08:00–16:30, 40 hours per week

  • Overnight Site Work Bonus: £30/night for overnight stays (when working in Central London)

Job Duties:

  • Carry out site fitting duties as required (CSCS card needed).
  • Work with various materials, including: Veneer, Laminate, Solid surface
  • Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.
  • Maintain quality and precision across both bench and site-based tasks.
  • Must have a CSCS card
  • Must have experience fitting commercial offices/bespoke joinery
  • Able to read technical drawings in order to install the joinery
  • Have your own basic hand-held tools.
  • Other tools provided

  • Ability to read and understand technical/working drawings.
  • Skilled in working with materials such as veneer, laminate, and preferably solid surface.
  • Willingness to travel for site installations (Central London).
  • CSCS card required for site work.
