AJ&U Recruitment is proud to represent a client based in the Greater Manchester area who specialises in designing and crafting high-quality interior joinery and bespoke furniture for commercial environments.
We\\\’re seeking an experienced Joiner with an interest in site fittings. This role offers variety and hands-on involvement, ensuring no two days are the same.
As part of a skilled team, you\\\’ll contribute to the creation of custom furniture tailored to client design briefs and handle the precise installation of joinery components. You will work with a diverse range of materials, including natural wood, laminates, steel, aluminium, veneer, and solid surface materials.

- Salary: £27,040 – £35,360 (dependent on experience/skills)
- Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked over 40/week
- Hours: 08:00-16:30, 40 hours per week
- Holiday: 20+ days (plus bank holidays)

- Overnight Site Work Bonus: £30/night for overnight stays (when working in Central London)

Job Duties
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery components in a workshop environment.
- Carry out site fitting duties as required (CSCS card needed).
- Work with various materials, including: Veneer, Laminate, Solid surface
- Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.
- Maintain quality and precision across both bench and site-based tasks.

- Proven experience as a bench joiner or site fitter.
- Ability to read and understand technical/working drawings.
- Skilled in working with materials such as veneer, laminate, and preferably solid surface.
- Willingness to travel for site installations (mainly Central London).
- CSCS card required for site work.
