Job Role: Bench Joiner/Site Fitter

Salary: £27,040 – £35,360

Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours

Site Work: Optional, typically in Central London (travel/accommodation covered + £30 overnight allowance)

We\\\’re seeking an experienced Joiner with an interest in site fittings. This role offers variety and hands-on involvement, ensuring no two days are the same.

As part of a skilled team, you\\\’ll contribute to the creation of custom furniture tailored to client design briefs and handle the precise installation of joinery components. You will work with a diverse range of materials, including natural wood, laminates, steel, aluminium, veneer, and solid surface materials.

  • Salary: £27,040 – £35,360 (dependent on experience/skills)
  • Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked over 40/week
  • Hours: 08:00-16:30, 40 hours per week
  • Holiday: 20+ days (plus bank holidays)

  • Overnight Site Work Bonus: £30/night for overnight stays (when working in Central London)
  • Travel & Accommodation: Covered by company for site work

Job Duties

  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery components in a workshop environment.
  • Carry out site fitting duties as required (CSCS card needed).
  • Work with various materials, including: Veneer, Laminate, Solid surface
  • Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings.
  • Maintain quality and precision across both bench and site-based tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bench joiner or site fitter.
  • Ability to read and understand technical/working drawings.
  • Skilled in working with materials such as veneer, laminate, and preferably solid surface.
  • Willingness to travel for site installations (mainly Central London).
  • CSCS card required for site work.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
