A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineers to join our team at our busy sawmill.
The Role
- Providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance for the business
- Proactively approaching maintenance tasks with continuous improvement in mindset
- Electrical fault finding and failure diagnosis including root cause analysis
- Installing and commissioning electrical/mechanical equipment
- Adhering to all company procedures and administrative requirements
- Accurately reporting on equipment condition before, during and after maintenance tasks when necessary
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out in an efficient, effective, and safe manner
- Encouraging engineering best practice amongst peers and promoting engineering hygiene.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in FMCG maintenance role (3yrs minimum)
- Experience in an industrial environment (1yr minimum)
- Good timekeeping
- Experience working as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- PC literate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with CMMS (desirable)
- Welding & fabrication experience (desirable)
- Mechanical engineering experience (desirable)
- Ability to manage own workload
- Experience working to deadlines and targets.
Package
- Salary £46,453 – £56,631 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
