AJ Renewables is one of Scotland's fastest-growing solar installation companies. We're MCS-accredited, multi award winning and proud holders of TrustMark and RECC certifications. We install premium solar panel systems for residential and commercial customers across Scotland — and we're growing fast. Following a record-breaking Q1, we're expanding our install operation and building out a third dedicated install squad. We're looking for an experienced roofer who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team that's going places.
The Role
As part of our install team, you'll work alongside another roofer and electricians to deliver high-quality solar panel installations on domestic and commercial properties. You'll be responsible for the safe and accurate installation of solar panel mounting systems and panels on a variety of roof types.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing solar panel racking and mounting systems across pitched and flat roofs
- Working safely at height in line with company H&S standards
- Ensuring weatherproofing, flashing, and roof integrity on every job
- Collaborating with our electricians to deliver clean, professional installs
- Representing AJ Renewables with professionalism on every site
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a roofer (domestic and/or commercial)
- Experience with solar panel installation is a strong advantage — but not essential, we'll train the right person
- A strong work ethic and a pride in doing the job right
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
