The Role
As a Residential Solar Sales Consultant at AJ Renewables, you'll be meeting warm, pre-qualified homeowners who have already expressed an interest in solar. Leads are fully provided, no cold calling, no self-generation. Your job is to consult, educate, and close. This is a hybrid field and office role. You'll spend time out on the road conducting in-home consultations and time at base managing your pipeline.
Day to day you'll be:
- Attending pre-booked, warm residential appointments across Scotland
- Conducting in-home solar consultations and designing tailored system recommendations
- Educating customers on solar technology, energy savings, and return on investment
- Preparing and presenting proposals that convert
- Managing your pipeline from first appointment through to signed contract
- Consistently hitting and exceeding monthly sales targets
What We're Looking For
- Proven, demonstrable experience in solar or renewable energy sales — this is essential
- A strong and consistent track record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Consultative selling skills — you inform and guide, not pressure
- Comfortable travelling across Scotland for field appointments
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and driven to earn well
- Full UK driving licence
