An opportunity has arisen for a Part/Newly Qualified Accountant based in Craigavon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation and benefit from full training, mentoring as well as exposure to a broad range of responsibilities within a vibrant finance team. This role is available with a 12-15 month fixed term contract (full time) and is office based in Craigavon. You will work with an international, result-driven and energetic team of professionals. Main Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Coding and posting journals, such as accruals and prepayments
  • Completion of a wide range of P&L and BS reconciliations, including variance analysis
  • Support VAT return preparation
  • Assisting with audit preparation and year-end processes
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company procedures
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Essential Criteria:

  • Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant
  • G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English at grade C or above
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Desirable Criteria:

  • 2+ Years experience in a similar role
  • Experience using manufacturing/ERP systems
