Accounting Technician Reference: AT/0926 An opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Technician to join our Finance team in Craigavon. Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm Friday. The role is office based. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Technician to join a leading organisation and benefit from full training, mentoring as well as exposure to a broad range of responsibilities within a vibrant finance team. Main Duties and Responsibilitieswill include but are not limited to: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Completing bank, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations Process journals and ensure accurate financial records are maintained Support VAT return preparation Assisting with audit preparation and year-end processes Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company procedures Other ad hoc duties as and when required Essential Criteria: Qualified Accounting Technician through Accounting Technicians Ireland, AAT or an equivalent recognised qualification GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent Proficient in MS Excel and Word Highly motivated individual with the ability to meet tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail Desirable Criteria: 2+ Years experience in a similar role Experience using manufacturing/ERP systems Skills: Finance Administration Sales Ledger Invoicing Credit Control Accounts Admin Benefits: Pension Fund Car Parking TPBN1_NI
