MEP Quantity Surveyor – Greater London
Are you a driven MEP Quantity Surveyor seeking your next challenge in the dynamic London construction market? We’re a fast-growing MEP contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across commercial, residential, and pharmaceutical sectors in Greater London. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to add a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to our commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting.
- Measure and value MEP works in progress and final accounts.
- Liaise with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Assess and manage variations, change orders, and claims.
- Contribute to procurement and tendering processes for subcontract packages.
- Maintain compliance with contract terms and commercial controls.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an MEP/Building Services environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC).
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
