This is a full-time on-site role for a Sushi Commis Chef with TASTE CONTRACT CATERING LIMITED in London. The Sushi Commis Chef will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and making sushi and maki
  • Plating and boxing up for the customers whilst maintaining the highest possible quality and standards
  • Monitoring dish ingredients and checking freshness of food
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene
  • Providing good customer service skills whilst ensuring a positive customer experience and enhancing sales performance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience making sushi and maki
  • Customer service, communication, and customer experience skills
  • Good knife skills
  • Food safety level 2
  • Food allergy knowledge and certificate
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
