We are working with a prestigious international law firm to hire a Senior Regulatory Analyst in London. In this role, you will support the Head of Risk in a newly created position, playing a vital part in shaping the vision of a recently restructured and forward-thinking department. The firm is looking for a proactive professional with at least five years of experience in compliance and professional practice regulation within an international commercial law environment.
The responsibilities will include:
- Managing the risk team inbox and providing expert guidance to fee earners on the interpretation of the SRA Code of Conduct.
- Resolving escalated legal and commercial conflict issues in close collaboration with the Conflicts Manager.
- Advising internal stakeholders on engagement letters, terms of business, and complex provisions such as liability limitations and conflict waivers.
- Delivering firm-wide training to ensure all staff understand their personal regulatory responsibilities and the firm's policies.
- Supporting the General Counsel and risk leadership with internal audits, risk assessments, and strategic investigations.
- Handling data protection matters, including managing data breaches and subject access requests.
- Monitoring changes in global law and regulation to assist in drafting and updating robust firm-wide policies.
- Reviewing and advising on client terms while acting as a key point of contact for the wider new business intake teams.
