Overview
We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Senior Compliance Analyst in Manchester. In this role, you’ll support the business with client onboarding, due diligence and ongoing monitoring, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You’ll also play a key part in guiding junior colleagues and contributing to firmwide compliance initiatives.
The firm is looking for someone with at least three years’ experience in client due diligence within a law firm, ideally with strong knowledge of AML regulations and exposure to client onboarding and monitoring processes.

Responsibilities
- Conducting client due diligence and supporting with risk assessments in line with AML regulations and firm policies
- Providing clear and pragmatic advice on CDD, KYC, source of funds, third-party payments and general AML queries
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for colleagues across the firm on compliance matters
- Interpreting regulations and policies to make informed, risk-based decisions and escalating complex issues where appropriate
- Contributing to wider compliance projects, including training, updating guidance and supporting initiatives across the firm
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting with training and allocation of work
- Building strong internal relationships and promoting a positive compliance culture
Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in client due diligence within a law firm, with strong knowledge of AML regulations
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, strong reasoning abilities and superb attention to detail
- Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities
