Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for compliance professionals in Horley!
Our client, a well-respected full-service law firm, is seeking a Junior AML & Conflicts Analyst. Within this role, you will contribute to a vital part of the firm’s risk management procedures. You will be involved in various aspects of risk management, such as CDD, anti-money laundering matters and file openings.
If you have a good understanding of AML Regulations, CDD requirements, UBOs and PEPs, keep reading!
Equally, anyone with an understanding of conflicts of interest, complex corporate structures and/or SOFs would be highly desirable to our client!
Some Responsibilities:
- Analyse conflict check reports, escalating where necessary
- Ensure relevant data is provided for CDD processes via internal systems, identifying issues where they appear
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.
- Support the Compliance Manager, particularly in place of absent Team Leaders
- Update client and matter files in the firm’s case management systems
- Assist in training new-joiners
- Maintain internal policies, user guides and training documentation
- Contribute to specialist ad-hoc projects in line with business needs
- Carry out spot-check file audits to ensure internal compliance
We’re looking for someone who puts clients first, communicates well, and can handle pressure while working independently. They should be highly organised, meet deadlines with ease, and have experience managing their time and leading others effectively. A natural problem-solver, who will bring focus and leadership to any team is the ideal candidate for this role.
