We’re working with a leading international law firm to hire a Conflicts Team Leader to join their London office. In this role, you’ll be the key point of expertise for conflicts of interest across the firm, advising on complex regulatory issues and supporting the Conflicts Manager in delivering a best‑class conflicts service. You’ll act as a mentor and escalation point for junior analysts, help shape and enhance internal policies and systems, and collaborate with colleagues across Risk & Compliance to maintain the highest professional standards.

The firm is looking for an experienced conflicts specialist, ideally someone currently operating at Senior Analyst level, with a deep understanding of the SRA Standards and Regulations and extensive experience using Intapp to manage conflict checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Advising on complex conflicts queries and escalations in collaboration with the Conflicts Manager and COLP
  • Providing mentorship and training to junior team members, supporting their development and growth
  • Ensuring effective management of conflict checks and clearances across the firm
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance policies, systems and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Building strong relationships with partners, fee earners and business services teams to deliver expert conflict support
  • Supporting the development of firm‑wide conflict‑related processes and contributing to broader risk and compliance initiatives

They’re looking for someone confident, analytical and highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities calmly and effectively. This role offers hybrid working with 1 day per week in the office.
