We are working with a commercial law firm to hire a Conflicts Analyst for their team. In this role you will work directly with lawyers and partners to analyse complex conflicts matters, provide practical solutions to risk issues, and support the ongoing development of internal processes and compliance systems.

The firm is looking for a collaborative professional with proven experience managing conflicts within a commercial law firm environment. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the commercial awareness and judgement required to balance risk management alongside high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, with prior exposure to specialised compliance technology being beneficial.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough analysis of conflicts checks to identify potential legal, regulatory, or commercial issues for new and existing matters.
  • Partnering with fee earners and partners to deliver pragmatic, business-focused solutions to complex risk challenges.
  • Assisting with the continuous refinement and evolution of internal conflicts search software, workflows, and risk management systems.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance requirements and internal risk policies.
  • Mentoring junior team members, sharing technical know-how, and acting as a central point of contact for compliance enquiries.
  • Contributing to group risk initiatives and supporting the maintenance of information barriers where required.
