We are working with a leading national law firm to hire a Junior Conflicts Advisor into their Risk and Compliance team in Bristol. This role is a great opportunity to develop your career in compliance, working closely with experienced colleagues to support the firm in managing new clients and matter checks. You'll help the team stay in line with regulatory, legal, and internal standards, as well as maintain the firm's reputation and commercial priorities.

The responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Assisting as a first point of contact for conflict queries from legal teams
  • Reviewing conflict reports and helping to spot potential legal or commercial conflicts
  • Supporting the team in setting up information barriers
  • Working with partners and lawyers to resolve issues when matters change in scope
  • Helping to maintain and update internal procedures and training materials
  • Keeping systems such as Intapp up to date and assisting with insider lists
  • Supporting the Conflicts Manager and wider team with projects and process improvements
