Anti-Money Laundering Officer

We are working with an accomplished law firm to hire an AML Officer to join their expanding corporate team in London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the firm's AML processes run smoothly and effectively, supporting the MLRO while driving improvements in risk management and compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous AML experience, ideally from a law firm, looking to further develop their career in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

The firm is seeking a proactive, detail-focused individual with a solid understanding of AML regulations and best practices who brings strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to the role.

The responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining AML policies and procedures

• Conducting risk assessments and client due diligence

• Monitoring transactions, identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the MLRO

• Reviewing client sources of wealth and funds

• Delivering AML training and guidance to staff

They are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
