AJ Case Management was established in 2013 to offer bespoke clinical services and support in everyday activities to our clients, enabling them to live a fulfilling and happy life.
This is an exciting opportunity to join AJ Case Management, in a pivotal role.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of services, ensuring full adherence to CQC (Care Quality Commission), standards and regulatory expectations.
Acting as the case management brand’s key point of contact for inspectors and external stakeholders, you will drive a culture of outstanding care through robust governance, safeguarding oversight, and continuous improvement.
You will champion policy compliance, support complex case management, and provide visible leadership across the service—ensuring teams are inspection-ready, well-informed and aligned to best practice.
Through strong communication, effective incident management, and commitment to training and development, you will play a vital role in shaping service excellence and contributing to ACG’s wider clinical and operational strategy.
The Role
This is a hybrid role with travel required. We are happy to consider applications for full-time or part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Registered Manager, ensuring the service remains fully compliant with CQC and all relevant legislation.
- Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services, driving continuous improvement and striving for Outstanding outcomes.
- Be the primary point of contact for CQC, leading regulatory inspections, managing compliance, and submitting statutory returns and notifications.
- Develop, review and implement policies, procedures and governance frameworks in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, incident reporting and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead and Case Managers to oversee complex care packages and ensure exceptional client outcomes.
- Provide visible, supportive leadership, fostering a positive culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
- Ensure all colleagues receive effective induction, mandatory training and ongoing professional development, maintaining high levels of competency and compliance.
- Use quality and performance data to monitor standards, identify opportunities for improvement and implement service enhancements.
- Support the strategic growth of the service by building strong stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
About You
- Registered healthcare or social care professional (e. g. Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Social Worker or Psychologist) with current professional registration.
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification is desirable (not required for registered healthcare professionals).
- Significant experience within case management, with a strong understanding of CQC and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior operational leadership role within a regulated health or social care service is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of governance, safeguarding, quality assurance, risk management and continuous service improvement.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, manage change and build a positive, high-performing culture.
- Excellent decision-making, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to manage complex situations and regulatory requirements.
- Highly organised with strong IT skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care and driving excellence across the service.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
