Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us develop the future of our customerâfacing investment experiences. You will be joining a crossâfunctional development team that has a philosophy of continuous improvement and a strong focus on engineering excellence.
We are a growing team focused on providing our customers with innovative web and appâbased tools and services to help them grow as investors no matter what their experience. We are on the lookout for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can lead us in the adoption of cuttingâedge technologies and provide a robust experience in production.
What to expect
Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement and building a highâperformance engineering team
Guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products
Consider architectural and nonâfunctional requirements and work with the team to break down and refine these into development tasks
Foster a buildâit, runâit, own it DevOps mentality, nurturing code from idea all the way to production
Tech Competency
Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with Node, PHP, .NET Core, MongoDB and/or SQL
Strong technical background in web development with React, NextJS, NestJS
Experience in developing HTTPâbased APIs and implementation of RESTful services with JSON and GraphQL
Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Practices TestâDriven Development and is comfortable with various test frameworks and concepts
Familiarity with containerisation and tools like Docker, ECS or Kubernetes
Experience of developing, deploying, and maintaining CloudâBased solutions on AWS
Understand the principles behind what makes a highâperforming web page
Experience of Drupal CMS would be a bonus
Soft skills
Proven experience working with stakeholders from product management and other business areas to design and deliver a solution
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Very motivated with high levels of drive and enthusiasm
Experience of working in financial services or a regulated industry would be a bonus
