Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for leading and delivering multiple, complex technology led projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What does the job involve?
- Manage the delivery of multiple, complex technology led projects
- Work closely with external third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Establish and maintain effective and trusted relationships to drive delivery
- Lead regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to key stakeholders
- Co-ordinate and drive the collaboration of project resources
- Identify and mitigate potential risks impacting delivery
- Be at the forefront of issues arising, working with project teams to identify solutions and driving resolution.
- Identify process improvements and where appropriate make recommendations for change
Competence, knowledge and skills
- Bachelor's degree in related subject preferred
- Project Management certification or equivalent
- Project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
