Are you passionate about protecting businesses and customers from financial crime Do you thrive in a fastpaced investigative environment If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Operational Financial Crime Team as an Analyst. Youll play a critical role as the first line of defense responding to referrals and safeguarding AJ Bell against financial threats. What youll do Triage referrals from customer services and operations teams: Manage daily PEP sanction withdrawal death benefit and bank statement referrals and alerts from the National Fraud Database.  Review alerts generated from the National Fraud Database Conduct an initial risk assessment to determine whether escalation to the second line team for further review is necessary. Handle first stage fraud triages including securing accounts after receiving reports of financial crime. Speaking to customers who report concerns to obtain additional information to assist with our investigations. Monthly monitoring of high risk cases What youll have Experience conducting AML checks and an understanding of associated risks. Knowledge of financial crime regulations (e.g. Financial Crime Handbook JMLSG) is a plus but not essential. Investigative skills and a logical approach to problemsolving. Strong oral and written communication skills for working with stakeholders and preparing reports. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure. A team player who takes ownership of queries and sees them through to resolution. For internal applications please submit your application by COB Friday 13 December.
