Overview

Digital Degree Apprenticeship – IT Services at AJ Bell in Manchester, United Kingdom. This is a four-year programme combining on-the-job experience with study for a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions with Manchester Metropolitan University. You will study one day per week during term time and spend the rest of your time working at AJ Bell. If successful, you will join the AJ Bell Apprenticeship Academy in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Complete structured rotations within the Service Delivery team, including IT asset management, change, problem & incident management, front office support, back office support, 2nd line support, and service transitions.
  • Develop a wide range of technical and operational IT skills.
  • Work closely with experienced professionals to understand core processes and best practices.
  • Contribute to the IT Services team in maintaining and improving technology used by the business, including assisting with setting up equipment, troubleshooting, and ensuring security.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 112 UCAS points (tariff for courses starting from September 2017).
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C / 9-4 including Maths and English.
  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship and UK/EEA residence for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to demonstrate why you want to work within the financial services industry.
  • Honesty, self-motivation, reliability; enthusiasm to learn and develop in different teams within the business.
