We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Senior Executive to support the content ecosystem across our mobile app platforms. You will be involved in the full content lifecycle from ideation and curation to UX integration and performance analysis, ensuring that our app users receive a cohesive, engaging, and personalised experience. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with product, UX/UI, marketing, SEO and development teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a mobile-first content strategy aligned with business goals and user engagement KPIs for both AJ Bell and Dodl.
  • Work with a team of content managers and editors to deliver high-quality, user-centric experiences across app platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to define content requirements for features, onboarding flows, push notifications, and personalisation modules.
  • Advise on editorial calendars, content tagging frameworks, and in-app copy guidelines for consistency and scalability.
  • Monitor content performance through analytics dashboards and optimise based on A/B testing, engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Stay current on mobile content trends, competitor strategies, and user behaviour to continuously evolve the content roadmap.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive content practices.
  • Drive organic app growth in both iOS and Google Play stores.
  • Be responsible for driving app adoption strategies for both AJ Bell and Dodl to boost engagement and user retention.
  • Optimise app store listings through keyword research and competitive analysis to improve visibility, rankings, and conversions.
  • Be aware of upcoming regulatory and industry updates and work with other teams to deliver timely content changes.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience in digital content strategy or content marketing, with a focus on mobile apps.
  • Strong grasp of mobile UX principles, content design, and platform constraints (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Android Material Design, etc).
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (Drupal, Hygraph), mobile analytics tools (Firebase, Amplitude, Appsflyer etc), and agile Product teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO for app store optimisation (ASO) and previous experience using ASO tools (AppTweak, App Radar, etc).
  • Proven success in scaling content operations and improving engagement through strategic storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience in financial or investment industries.
