An excellent opportunity has arisen for a strong and hands-on Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly care provider within a high-quality nursing home environment. This role would suit an experienced Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or existing Clinical Lead looking to take the next step within a supportive and progressive organisation.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in leading the clinical team, maintaining high standards of care, supporting governance and compliance, and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred and compassionate care at all times. This is a highly visible and operational role, requiring a confident clinician who is happy to lead from the front, support the nursing team on the floor and drive clinical excellence across the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care teams
  • Ensure high standards of clinical care, medication management and documentation
  • Support with audits, governance and compliance processes
  • Mentor, coach and develop nurses and care staff
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to drive quality improvement and best practice
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
  • Support with safeguarding, care planning and clinical risk management
  • Assist with staff supervisions, competency assessments and training
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical knowledge within elderly care/nursing home settings
  • Previous experience as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or Clinical Lead
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Hands-on and approachable management style
