Our mission is to empower the next generation of performers and creators.

AIW is looking for experienced and passionate Freelance Lecturers to offer filmmaking coaching for our students before they start their bachelor or master courses in the UK. We are recruiting multiple instructors in each field of Directing, Cinematography, Producing, Post Production, and Screenwriting. As part of our dynamic team, you'll deliver engaging and practical lessons, online or in-person in London, with the flexibility to meet the specific needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality courses in Directing, Cinematography, Producing, Post Production, or Screenwriting to advanced students
  • Create customized lesson plans, assignments, and feedback sessions tailored to students' individual learning goals
  • Mentor students and provide constructive feedback on their filmmaking projects
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and filmmaking techniques to ensure students receive relevant and practical knowledge
  • Attend the online recruitment webinar occasionally and share the industry experience with our potential clients
Requirements
  • Proven teaching experience in film, preferably at a UK film school or university level
  • Industry experience with a proven record of professional work in film or related fields
  • Extensive practical experience in film or television production in Directing, Cinematography, Producing, Post Production, or Screenwriting
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Film or a related field (preferably from a UK film school)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire advanced students
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of filmmakers
  • Technical proficiency in relevant filmmaking tools, software, and equipment such as editing software, cameras, and production tools
