As an experienced Project Manager within the Professional Services department at Aiviq, you will take the lead in the oversight of implementation projects to new and existing Aiviq clients. You will collaborate with our Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Services teams to deliver on global implementations while ensuring a high standard in the tracking and delivery of projects on time and on budget.

Core Responsibilities

  • Running a multi-phase (Solution Design, Development, Test and BAU transition) project working with internal Product and Professional Services BA resources as well as client Business, Tech and Change teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client resources for the duration of a given implementation, which includes an understanding of product features, data concepts and challenges to client resources.
  • Managing all aspects of the project from initiation to close including planning, risk and issue management (both internal and client facing), dependency management, testing, budget tracking and change management including commercial discussions where scope changes are necessary.
  • Undertaking some BA or data analysis work where this is not undertaken by the project Technical BA.
  • Managing both internal and client facing status reporting, and giving regular updates.
  • Production of high-quality project deliverables and PowerPoint presentation decks.
  • Having a commercial awareness of the project and escalating to the Head of Professional Services as required.
  • Being able to work in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid projects depending on internal and client requirements.
  • Chairing project stand up and steering committee meetings including the production of necessary material and collecting and sharing the agreed actions.
  • Scope management and running of the Change Request process.
  • Client stakeholder and expectation management - both of project delivery and also client deliverables and client internal change.

Occasionally the successful candidate may be requested to undertake additional internal responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting the Head of Professional Services with future project implementation planning or estimation.
  • Working with the Head of Professional Services to streamline, simplify and standardise the implementation process.
  • Project Management of internal projects or RFP processes.

Your Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of project management in FinTech or consultancy related roles.
  • Ability to grasp new business data domains quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills towards project stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience in handling challenging conversations with clients.

Desired Experience

  • Broad knowledge of the asset management industry and knowledge of key business functions.
  • Formal Project Management training (PMP, Prince2 Agile, etc.).
