This is a full-time, on-site role for an Exhibition Carpenter located in Broxbourne, United Kingdom. The Exhibition Carpenter will be responsible for building and assembling exhibition structures, utilizing carpentry techniques, handling power and hand tools, and performing finish carpentry work. Additional tasks include interpreting technical drawings, ensuring construction precision, and adhering to safety standards on-site. This role requires some work in the workshop as well as on site and occasionally staying away in a hotel if the site is far away and sometimes abroad (may not always be necessary).
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry
- Hands-on experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Skills in Framing and constructing exhibition structures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow project specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards
- Experience in exhibition or construction work is an advantage
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Have a full-time UK driving licence with less than 6 points to drive our work vans to and from site
